Take the pledge! Strawless Summer is a LA-wide initiative led by the Surfrider LA Chapter to help local restaurants reduce single-use plastic waste. For 2 months (August through September 2026), participating businesses pledge to only provide straws upon customer request.
This simple shift helps:

🌴 Prevent straw debris from littering LA
Participating restaurants will receive promotional materials, community recognition on Surfrider LA's website, and the satisfaction of supporting a more sustainable restaurant industry.
