HUGE PLASTICS WIN IN LA COUNTY!

After 11.5K+ emails to LA County Supervisors and over 250+ written public comments supporting “The Big One,” we are thrilled to announce that LA County finally passed the ordinance we’ve all been waiting for on April 19th, 2022. In a nutshell, “The Big One” will:

• Require ALL single-use foodware items in the County to be actually compostable or recyclable
• Ban all EPS (AKA styrofoam) products in the County
• Require reusable foodware at full-service, dine-in eateries

This highly-anticipated ordinance will go into effect in Spring of 2023.
